Talking to local residents, we’ve heard concerns about speeding cars. So Graveney Councillors are calling for a Community Roadwatch day.
Community Roadwatch gives local residents the opportunity to work side by side with their local police teams, and use speed detection equipment to identify speeding vehicles in their communities. Warning letters will be issued where appropriate, and the information can help to inform the future activity of local police teams.
To take part in Community Roadwatch, contact CommunityRoadwatch@met.police.uk stating the borough and area you live in. (Send us a copy too) Your enquiry will be forwarded to your local MPS Safer Transport Team, who will be in touch.
The more responses they get, the more likely it is that Graveney will be given priority for a Roadwatch event.
